• Why did you join Phi Sigma Pi? I joined PSP because I really wanted to get more involved on campus and get more involved so I could get more leadership experience and have a really close group of long lasting friends. That, and Erica convinced me ;)
• How has it changed your life since you decided to join? (Brothers only) I definitely have made so many friends through PSP and I feel as if I have also grown in so many ways. Having positions within the chapter has also allowed me to become more of a leader. Thanks Erica ;)

• What motivates you? Thinking about my future and what I want to do with my career! Especially when it comes to school, thinking about what I will be able to accomplish and how I can help other motivates me to work hard.

• Any advice for future members? It goes by so fast so cherish every moment! Although sometimes your semester or school year can get super stressful, remember that you will always have supportive brothers to help you through and who have your back!!

• Why did you join Phi Sigma Pi? I was super boring and just sat in my dorm room every night and I really wanted to get out there and meet new people, so I got the email and decided to go to the info nights.  I really just wanted to get involved on campus and make new friends!
• How has it changed your life since you decided to join? (Brothers only): My life has changed in so many ways! I not only have so many more friends and people that I can count on, but I also am a lot more involved in my academics.  I have become more social (not that I was shy before), and just really learned how to be a true leader. 
• Sum up Delta Rho in three words/phrases: Leadership, Trustful, Family
• What is one misconception people have about you? People have called me bossy a lot growing up.  I'm not bossy I just have always had the leadership mentality and it some times just comes off the wrong way.
• What do you think your best quality is? I think that I am a very caring and forgiving person.  I don't hold grudges and I'm very easy to talk to. 
  
• What do you think about when you are alone in your car? Where am I supposed to be going again?
• Do you believe in love at first sight? No I do not.  I think that it takes time to truly fall in love with someone.  I believe in "wow you're hot" at first sight! haha 
• Unique or quirky habit? I blink a lot and wrinkle my nose a lot. I hate it! But I can't help it!
• Growing up, what were your favorite toys to play with as a child? Barbies!! Loved them

• What are some of your fears? I hate balloons when they pop. Freaks me out!

• What is currently bugging you? I'm so stressed about school :( I feel like I'm going to explode! I should be doing homework right now instead of this haha oh well #procrastination

• I joined Phi Sigma Pi because I needed support here at UNC that only this group could provide.  The everlasting friendships with fun people is a perk!

• I feel that I am slowly growing as a person.  PSP has also been helping me with personal issues by being an incredibly loving and wonderful support system.

• What is one misconception people have about you?
• People tend to think that I am really snobby and rude.  I always am nervous when meeting people for the first time. 
• What motivates you?

• My younger sister Gabrielle Delaney.  She is the joy in my life, and I want to succeed so that she knows it is possible.

• Well, my mom says I have really pretty teeth....so does my dentist, come to think of it....

• Absolutely.  It's one of the only ideas that keeps me going sometimes.

• My biggest fear is that I will never find someone who loves me for me.  I don't want to be alone, and the idea that I may never find a life partner absolutely terrifies me.

Contact Information Game Update

We have started our Contact Information game!

It's a mix of assassins and mafia that will be played throughout semester. If you are "attacked" by the "killer", either have 1 Doctor call you or 3 Brothers/Initiates come meet you in order to save you. This way, if you have everyone's contact information in your phone, you are more likely to survive. Only 2 "attempts" are allowed per week and we will be updating what happens on here!

Thank you Natalie Grapes, our Parlimentarian, for creating this awesome game!

Please note: no one actually dies/gets hurt/attacked during this game! There is no risk and everyone agreed to play :)

• Natalie G. was in the UC having some lunch, when the killer caught her right before leaving for class. Luckily, a doctor was able to save her and she made it to class!

• Megan B. was on her way to class in McKee when she was attacked by the killer! Her phone, however, didn't have service in her classroom so her message took a while to send. As she waited in class for someone to help her, a doctor luckily responded as her last few minutes were counting down! 

November 11, 2013

• Hannah E. was attacked by the killer outside Holmes dinning hall. She quickly set out the alert and had three people on their way to help when she got a call from the Doctor and was saved! Her words her attacker: Nice try killer

• Josh W. was minding his own business when out of the blue, the killer attacked me about 2 minutes before class. Unfortunately, he was not saved and thus is our first casualty in this round of the game.

• It has made all the difference! I have been more social and willing to volunteer for projects that I never would have before.

• What motivates you?
• Honestly, people telling me that I can't do something is what motivates me and also the support of family and friends. But mostly the first one
• What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your lifetime?
• I really would love to be fluent in sign language

• I have such a horrible memory, so I would probably rate it a 4 on a scale of 1 to 20
• Biggest pet peeve?
• Honestly right now my biggest pet peeve is when people pack up while the professor is still talking! It just disrupts people, like me, who are still trying to learn something.
